** URGENT - PLEASE READ: Make sure you do NOT save your .D11 files (data files) to the C:/Program File/ directory. This is where our program defaults to and has previously. Microsoft has made this directory a system directory for the Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. If you do save your files to the C:/Program File/ directory, you may NOT be able to see them later. If this happens, you will have to get your technical support staff to help you see the files. Please make sure you save them to any other directory. For example, you may want to create a directory "My Documents/VisualForms/ to store your data files in. Also make sure you go into the Preferences from within our software and change your default directories.**
** Please make sure you have updated your preparer and billing letters before importing your customers. **
In the save file dialog, select the directory where you wish to save the file
Once saved, double click on the file to install the program
NOTE: you will have to use the password supplied to you in an email from Customer Support to install the software. If you did not receive this email, please check your spam folder. To receive future mailings, please put visforms@comcast.net in the address book of your email software.
Future updates can be applied by using the "Check for Updates" function under "Help" in your DC2011 PPT program.
